Abusing freebiesA friend of mine recently attended a 'Champaign Lunch', where he was compelled drink as much fizzy stuff as he could between the first and last courses. In an ideal world we'd ask restaurant staff to tell us stories about fatties stuffing themselves at All You Can Eat places, but we recognise that our members don't all work in the catering trade, so for the rest of you - tell us something about abusing freebies. BTW: Bee puns = you fail.

I had a week in Boston for freeI was meant to be working, but the materials I had sent over got impounded by US customs, and then by the Dept of Agriculture (fuck knows why), so I had most of the time to myself.
I had a car so I took myself off round Massachusetts and did a bit of sightseeing, including a rather nice day at Cape Cod (where unfortunately I dropped my camera in the Atlantic Ocean, but I got a nice new one off the insurance, so that was fine).
I was also taken out for meals quite a lot, stayed in a decent hotel and ended up only working a day and a half out of the whole week.
And I bought my iPod when I was there, as it was £50 cheaper at the time.
Very pleasant.
