A friend of mine recently attended a 'Champaign Lunch', where he was compelled drink as much fizzy stuff as he could between the first and last courses. In an ideal world we'd ask restaurant staff to tell us stories about fatties stuffing themselves at All You Can Eat places, but we recognise that our members don't all work in the catering trade, so for the rest of you - tell us something about abusing freebies. BTW: Bee puns = you fail.

As a rule my grammar and spelling and punctuation are pretty good, and it doesn't take a lot of effort- but I have to admit, I do think about them as I write, and I do tend to go back and proof read.
While it can be highly annoying to have someone else correcting a minor error, especially if done in a condescending way, I confess that it does make reading more pleasant if that editor in the back of my head isn't picking out the errors in the posts I read. Hopefully people are picking up the spelling and grammar instruction rather than simply ignoring it as irritating pedantry, and their posts will improve as a result.
(Gotta say, though- in a setting as casual as this one, I generally don't get particularly fussed by the errors.)
