You should be able to locate a small toggle switch. The switch often gets knocked onto the "off" position, disabling all higher brain functions. Simply flip the switch, and you should notice an immediate improvement.
This is a known design fault. It is clear that approximately 80% of the population has accidentally turned off their brains in this way. The proof is clear: there's no other explanation for the fact that "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" actually has an audience.
