Happy 10th Birthday B3ta
Ten years ago today we launched B3ta (well the version of it you'd recognise). Happy birthday B3ta! As a special one off please add your memories of B3ta here. E.g. How you found the site, or an early thing you saw on the site, maybe the people you've met or how the community is/was part of your life.

Those were the days
I've been a member for 9 years, 5 months and 28 days, although very little posting of late.
I remember some very messy london based bashes in 2002, 2003 at the Daphne and Celeste pub. I'd like to think my liver is still suffering to this day.
I think I found b3ta through a reference to it on some fictional TV show about an internet startup - I think it was called 'Attachments'...

Hahaha oh yeah the Daphne and Celeste,
I got to know my way around London amazing well thanks to all the wandering to/from bashes. Finding Priestess' house was still a challenge though. I was told it was up by the prison but it turns out there are two in Holloway so I spent an hour haning around outside the wrong one around midnight.

I blame that Bob the Dinosaur.
Drunkenness seemed to never be far away when he was around.
