Well, he has a point.
In Saudi Arabia the recorded rape convictions were as of 2000 the lowest of any country in the world (3.29 per million people, compared to the U.K's 142.17 per million, or South Africa's 1,195.38 per million).
I'm sure it has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that marital rape isn't a crime there, and other sorts of rape are taken about as seriously by the Saudi Arabian courts as failure to have a bell on one's bicycle in ours.
