Ill thought-out? If he were that cross about it all he'd do something constructive like donate his fag money to Al Q'aida or something.
Cynical, yes. Because he's doing it for recognition, not for the Iraqis.
A bit like that Assange fellow. Or anyone at all who shouts their claims to want to change the status quo significantly from the comfort of say, Parliament Square, or behind their expensive computer screen.

But if you want to get down to it, both you and I know that you're deliberately obfuscating, and that I didn't even imply such a thing, let alone suggest it.
