It's not just that, there's the whole 'enormous public awareness of the dangers of asbestos and the need for protective gear' thing too.Nothing of this rings true, it has the smell of 'this bloke in the pub told me'.

My mate..Is a self employed builder, and he's happy scampering about stripping asbestos, he reckons that "masks are for girls"..
Now you mention it, I've not seen him in ages...
