I also proclaimed Bon Jovi, Guns n Roses, Iron Maiden, Star Wars, Smoke on the Water and other things I now like as "utter shit" to my friends.
In my defence, I did think that Star Wars was just the sequel to Star Trek. And I *knew* Star Trek was shit, but I had never seen Star Wars.
