I did wear some pretty outrageous clothesWhen I was 16 - big baggy ethnic hippy stuff. I remember children actually bursting out laughing as they saw me walking down the street. But I still think it was pretty cool.
And I used to walk about with these metal ball thingys in my pockets - they made a sound like distant bells, so as I walked along people'd be looking around thinking "what the cranberry's that noise"
