OMFG !That is so cute! Can I ask if the older cat is a male or female? I was toying with the idea of getting my Simba a companion as his sadly passed away 2 years ago but was worried he would bat it round the head when we weren't around. He's a boisterous ginger tom.

Boy cats and girl cats work out fineThe older cat is female and the younger is a female. Prior to the kitten we had a little boy cat who died only a couple of months back, Maddie got on fine with basil straight away with Livvy it too ka little bit longer, if you want your existing cat to rule the roost becareful out getting them spayed. The cat that isn't spayed will always lord it over the one that is, even if its a kitten

That's good to hear :DI didn't think it would work at all but I shouldn't have under estimated a feline’s ability to adapt. Simba is a boy and he has been neutered so although he can be territorial he still lets in cats that are non-offensive and he gets on with e.g. Flossy his GF from next door.
