The best thing I've built
Wehttamman asks: My dad and I once built a go-kart from chipboard, pram wheels and an engine from a lawn mower. It didn't work... so tell us about your favourite things you've made, and whether they were a triumph or complete failure.

I bodged a Corsa radiator into an Astra.
Via the use of stilts.

Just out of curiosity
Why would you bother . . . surely you could have got an Astra rad at a scrapyard for less than the agro of doing that.
Didn't it overheat?

There were no Astras in the scrappy.
I took a Corsa one because I thought they were the same until they were laid side by side.
As for effort, all it took was a couple of swipes of an angle grinder on a clothes horse that was being lobbed out to make the stilts.
No, it didn't overheat; the radiators are identical, it's just the plastic brackets they were pressed into that differed.

Is that honestly the best thing you've ever built?
Or am I missing an enormous amount of sarcasm?
