Heh.The phoneboxes in Hull used to be unable to tell the difference between a 20p coin and a 1992 1p coin. Yay!

In much the same wayGary Lineker football "coins" used to work pretty well in the Tyne & Wear Metro ticket machines for a brief period in the early 90s (if I recall correctly).
