science of soapI recall reading about this on an obscure blog somewhere. The lather in soap is what gets you clean as the dirt particles and bacteria on your body attach to it. The did a study comparing bacteria on hands after they had been washed with soap and with gel. Soap won by a long way. I also don't feel properly clean after using gel.
