This is a question Redundant technology

Music on vinyl records, mobile phones the size of house bricks and pornography printed on paper. What hideously out of date stuff do you still use?

Thanks to boozehound for the suggestion

ok I know I went to a posh private school when I was a kid but reading through wikipedia-bollocks it said that it used to retail at £150, now if I do some compound interest (on the vl-tone of course!), at 5% inflation over thirty years that would make the VL-Tone worth £650 in todays money, holly shit those ipads are cheap! (for which I think we have to thank chairman mao!)

£150? Wiki says $150.
But I remember something nearer £30. But even that was a fair wedge for a schoolkid in 1981.
