IgnoranceI once was in a programming class where the task was "build a calculator". A student did one with buttons 1, 2, 3 all the way up to about 25 and then ran out of space on the screen. We've asked this before but liked it so much we're asking again: What's the best example of ignorance you've encountered?

Docs and dogging - condensed peaI've mentioned this mate of mine before several times. He honestly believed that Word documents became smaller if you changed from double to single line spacing or reduced the font.
He also believed that people who went dogging actually had sex with dogs.

Word docs ARE smaller with a smaller font. I just tested and it made .01KB difference between size 4 and size 16 calibri so, nerrr.

Line spacing and font may matter.If there's metadata associated with a new page being added and you take the page count down, for example. Can't be arsed playing but I don't think it stupid to think it.
What's your argument for it making no difference?
