Ignorance
I once was in a programming class where the task was "build a calculator". A student did one with buttons 1, 2, 3 all the way up to about 25 and then ran out of space on the screen. We've asked this before but liked it so much we're asking again: What's the best example of ignorance you've encountered?

So you must of been one of these tourists to witness others. So more a case of feeling smug about yourself when away than a display of ignorance you feel you can share.

This seems like a good opportunity to tell everybody about the lovely holiday I just had to Florence.
IT WAS ABSOLUTELY LOVELY AND I ATE ICE CREAM UNTIL I WAS SICK

Chocolate and cinnamon
I also had a granita. I had granitas in Sicily that were delicious, but the one I had in Pisa came out of a machine and tasted like frozen sugary cif

One might argue that you said too much there.
By which I mean shut up.

British on the Med?
I've spent the last Month here (Rome, Tuscany, Marseille and the riviera all the way to Narbonne) and haven't had the least issue with the Brits, or even the Yanks for that matter. Where've you been to get so fucked off???

2/1 says this thread will be a dump-it-and-run affair.
A mental flytip, as it were.

It's a simple principle,
if you send enough people to any place there will be a portion of idiots ignorant enough to tell stories about.
Ignorant Americans in London? Absolutely, but Americans don't hold a monopoly.
It must be the Olympics but the collective British skin does seem a little thin these days.

Don't know about the Olympics, but a lot of folk have been thin skinned ever since they discovered there was fun to be had and profit to be made from getting offended in public.
