This is a question Blood

Like a scene from The Exorcist, I once spewed a stomach-full of blood all over a charming nurse as I came round after a major dental operation. Tell us your tales of red, red horror.

Computers: Dangerous business
I'm sure anyone who repairs computers has encountered the peril of cheap sheet-metal cases.

Yes, they're fucking lethal.

Especially the way that you think you've only got a scratch, and then realise that it's severed an entire chunk of your finger in a similar way to a scalpel blade.

I have many scars.

yep
fucking razor sharp edges everywhere. And dont get me started on knuckles scraping on circuit boards. I;ve got a GPU covered in my blood, stinks to high heaven and makes the cat go funny when its on.

I can join that club
Far too many scars on my hands from those things!

The worst parts are the blanking plates as they look like dull edges even after the top of your finger is missing!

Yep!
Fitting a graphics card and had to guide it with my finger halfway through the slot, ripped it to bastard shreds!

It's when...
... you lever side off with your thumb, only to have the thing cut right under your nail to a depth of about 5mm. Aaargh.

Or the "tattoo" running up my index finger
I got off ink-covered cog when trying to un-jam an A3 HP Deskjet. A nice little row of dots from the corner of the gears as the cog pressed into my finger and rotated down its length...

My first PC...
I forget the spec now, but it's still running a distro of linux (DSL) very well having had many a sacrifice from me when changing boards etc.

I refuse to change the case either - the rusty coloured spots add to it's charm.
