This book changed my life
The Goat writes, "Some books have made a huge impact on my life." It's true. It wasn't until the b3ta mods read the Flashman novels that we changed from mild-mannered computer operators into heavily-whiskered copulators, poltroons and all round bastards in a well-known cavalry regiment.
What books have changed the way you think, the way you live, or just gave you a rollicking good time?
Friendly hint: A bit of background rather than just a bunch of book titles would make your stories more readable

...
Indeed. Enid Blyton's work is largely fabricated. I know this because Noddy told me himself.

I agree
I know people like that. I couldn't read the whole thing, got as far as the codex within a codex then thought "fuck it, this is terrible".

Sadly, I enjoyed it!
However, I know it is all fiction, even though he has his little disclaimer at the front saying everything is fact.
I got into an argument with a girl at Leeds festival a few years back, when I said it was bollocks, she replied 'some people believe the bible, I believe the Da Vinci Code'.
Utter Moron.

Erm, sorry to be a pedant and all...but...
It was clearly stated on the radio only the other week that Mr Ears would no longer like to be called 'Big' Ears as he has broken all contact with his former associate and has undergone some plastic surgery.

Gah.
Ex-Mr Maladicta - the one with child who forgot to tell me about them - believes wholeheartedly in the Da Vinci Code. Another example of his pants on head retardedness.

Clues
Even if people start off believing it, there are some pretty hefty clues that add up to it not being real. Even the smaller details add up to it being untrue. He claims one of the churches is built on an ancient Egyptian temple. Fair enough, but in Paris?
