This is a question Brain Fade

Freddie Woo tells us how he recently spent ages trying to open his front door with his Oyster Card before realising he actually needed things called "keys". Tell us of times you've done stupid things while on auto-pilot

I still occasionally wake up thinking I haven't revised for an exam/have missed a deadline.
It'll be four years since I graduated and joined the workforce this year.

I do this too- I'll wake up in the middle of the night thinking 'Fuck! I haven't done my homework!' and I'll lay there in semi consciousness for what seems like forever concucting water-tight excuses for the lack of essays/artwork then It will suddenly dawn on me that I'm 35 and haven't been to school for 17 years.

Did you join the workforce this year, or four years ago?

Four years.
I just forgot how to write for a minute there.

Four years from graduating to joining the workforce?
Did you get seriously fucking lost up a fat Thai whore?

Interesting.
In all the jobs I've had since my first one when I was 13 (27 odd years so far), I've had some sort of deadline for something. Quite often involving something I've had to leave overnight and resume/present/produce the next day.
So I could conceivably have stressful nights where I worry about having missed something for tomorrow.
But then I remember that it's just a job and that at the end of each day I am not at work and free to do many things I enjoy - like spending time with my family. Or reading and commenting on posts on a comedy website.

I've done that twice recently
It's stress-related. My excuse is that I've migrated to another country and have been trying to find work.
