Take away the delete button.Please. Please take it away. Make it mod-only or something, just please stop people deleting threads after 200 people have replied and a conversation has got going.

or change the post to say something along the lines of"Post has been deleted by the idiot that wrote it"
thereby preserving the replies and conversations but allowing people to remove their moronic posts.

HmmI think that once a post has been replied to then it can't be edited.
