"I LikeThis..."...is available for one's own posts. I don't remember this being the case before. I'm sure no B3tan would ever dream of voting for his/her own posts, but isn't it best to avoid putting temptation our way?

I've never seen it any other wayand as far as rumour has it, clicking your own post doesn't add to its click score, but adds it to your archive of liked posts in your profile.
Dunno if that's right or not.
