The nursing profession are not very caring towards their own.
I left nursing because I couldn't stand the staff. I loved the patients, but all the hierarchy and bullshit that went on was just too much for me. I too have lost a family member through suicide. It's a tough situation to deal with, so my thoughts are with you and his family. The bullying nurse has no business being in the so called "caring profession."

...yeah, the so called caring professions seem to be the worst at looking after their own.
And the workplace support and counselling services that do exist have little credibility due to supposedly confidential information somehow working it's way back up to the ears of management.
Been through this myself recently and have lost all trust in the support system.
