Cars
"Here in my car", said 80s pop hero Gary Numan, "I feel safest of all". He obviously never shared the same stretch of road as me, then. Automotive tales of mirth and woe, please.

It can be the same here
I was with a mate when he got pulled over after an all day and night session. He was so pissed he couldn’t stand unaided and was slumped against the side of the police car. When he was asked for his driving license he dropped his wallet and ended up sprawled on the ground when he bent down to pick it up.
So we were guessing he’d be in trouble. But no, after giving him a bit of a bollocking, they asked if anyone in the car was in a better condition to drive (no) then told him to try and get home without getting pulled over again.
Bastards didn’t even offer to see us home.
Still, bit odd though that they didn’t do him!?

Probably near the end of their shift
They'd hit all their targets for the month and didn't want the paperwork.
