im preparing for a philosophy exam tomorrow
and apparently our moral behaviour is dependent on situational influences, not personality traits, which fits in nicely...

considerate, reliable, honest friend = without the situational pressure of a boyfriend
hypocritical, unreliable, dishonest friend = with the added situational pressure of a boyfriend

conclusion: personality traits are not good predictors of behaviour. we must examine situational pressures...

Some people who have BFs can still be honest, look at your other friend, she comes straight out and says that she' not going to see you tonight because she's seeing her BF.

yeah i suppose the theory has been criticised a lot. still, im supposed to arguing for it in my essay so im going to convince myself that its true until precisely half 3 tomorrow afternoon.
