I was chatting to a colleague at the work Xmas do last night...
She's quite shy, far more than I'd realised actually, and the conversation was pretty stilted... I noticed she had nice red shoes on and commented, and she replied with
"Nice shoes as in nice shoes, or nice shoes as in you want to nail me?"
:D

Heh, actually it was the first one.
Given that we'd just been talking (stiltedly) about her new boyfriend about 3 minutes previously, and that she knows my girlfriend, it was never really going to be anything else :)

Hmmmm
I find those are the BEST bets, the beauty of them being that they don't expect you to marry them afterwards, they are more likely to keep it our filthy secret.
Then again, there's the bunny boilers....
Anyway you know what they say : "Red shoes, no knickers". Apparently.

Well it sounds like it doesn't it?
But as mentioned above, she really wasn't trying it on, and to compound the effect she instantly followed it with "Sorry, I'm rubbish at flirting" and the most mortified face I've ever seen :D
