Cheap Tat
OneEyedMonster remindes us about the crap you can buy in pound shops: "Batteries that lasted about an hour and then died. A screwdriver with a loose handle so I couldn't turn the damn screw, and a tape measure which wasn't at all accurate."
Similarly, my neighbour bought a lawnmower from Argos that was so cheap the wheels didn't go round, it sort of skidded over the grass whilst gently back-combing it.
What's the cheapest, most useless crap you've bought?

any Lidl branded item that has the word "chocolate" on it.
It may look like chocolate, it may even smell and initially taste like chocolate, but the after taste and general indigestion that follows say otherwise.

I
had my first ever Lidls experience last year.

me too
lidl is great! some of their products are admittedly crap (like the washing liquid i bought that smelt of piss) but most of it's at least comparable to the own-brand stuff that costs twice as much in the sainsburys over the road. and there are definite gems in there - their pizzas, for instance, are possibly the best frozen pizzas i have ever tasted. and i can always appreciate a massive bag of assorted chocolate biscuits for a pound.

Their tortilla chips
and creme fresh are cheaper and better than the stuff I can get anywhere else locally, but some of the other stuff is scary.
