and used to do afternoons/evenings in a wine bar called 'Tavs' Sir Trev used to frequent, so got to know him. As far as I could work out, he must have been quite tanked up by the time he actually read the news. Genuinely nice guy though

Watched him the other day on the TV programme where he travels the length of the Mississippi. There's a bit where he meets some college football cheerleaders and they throw him up in the air and hold him up in the air. He looked genuinely scared and very vulnerable!
