Shit Claims to Fame II
My car was in the Specsavers advert with the old lady and the loud stereo. Not me. My stupid blue Nissan Micra. Tell us about your brushes with fame.

Derren Brown
Always comes across as a really, really nice bloke and not at all an egotistical wanker like some famous people.
Also he's fucking clever.

He is indeed
He is without doubt one of the nicest people I know. A very very intelligent man who you can have a conversation with on just about any subject, except football.
He is however one of the most forgetful people I have ever met. He has to make a mental note to remember everything. It's as though his short term memory has forgotten just to absorb information the way most peoples does and I have seen him immensely frustrated that he can't remember things.
He also has a Malcolm Tucker-esque swearing abillity.
My favourite quote of his was a comment I saw him make on stage during his Something Wicked This Way Comes Tour. He was on stage and someone in the audiences phone rang. He stopped and stared toward the offending person;
"Don't answer that. It's really really bad news"
This was during his first national tour after the specials he did on Mind Control for Channel 4. So some people were still probably convinced he was the real deal despite his protestations.
