This is a question I don't understand the attraction

Smaug says: Ricky Gervais. Lesbian pr0n. Going into a crowded bar, purely because it's crowded. All these things seem to be popular with everybody else, but I just can't work out why. What leaves you cold just as much as it turns everyone else on?

Fairgrounds
Jesus, everyone complains about pikey scum rocking up and parking their theif addled caravan camps in the middle of rural Wiltshire but as soon as they get out the dodgems and rat burgers people flock to them like flies round s**t!

It's like hating rats but loving pidgeons!

You know some of those f***ing rides cost over a million pounds?! Do you?! Do you know how they afford them? By stealing and avoiding paying fucking taxes, that's how, you c***s!

F**k off you pikey s***s!

If you feel the need to asterisk out swear words on this site
you're in the wrong place.

To be fair
There are many different types of travelling folk. Some of these are indeed workshy, feckless scroungers. At least the travelling fayre folk actually work for a living and provide us with entertainment at the same time.

Explain your economic theory, please
Because if they can manage to get millions for a ride from stealing and tax evasion then why do they spend it all on a fucking ride, why not just carry on doing the stealing and tax evasion?

Also, how can it be tax evasion if it's stealing? Last count you don't declare earning on theft...

Stealing and tax evasion can be mutually exclusive.
Example: I steal a mars bar. I refuse to pay council tax. Simples.

ha ha ha ha
What?!

So steal Mars bars, don't pay taxes to save to buy a multi million pound ride which you travel around the country with... yeah because that'll make you less conspicuous. Why not carry on stealing the Mars bars and not pay taxes and spend the "millions"?

Maybe
they steal the rides?

But who would they steal them from? Other carnies? But who do they steal them from?

Perhaps it's some never ending carnie loop.
