I think piercings are one of those things you hate or love.I don't think there is any middle ground.

hate to contradict you herebut I'm in the middle ground. I'm not keen on loads of facial piercings, but can take or leave all the rest. Admittedly I've not so much as kissed someone with a pierced tongue so I'm probably just someone who loves them without knowing it, seeing as I don't hate the appearance of them.
