My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.

hang onI'm a suvverner and I'm used to having breakfast, dinner and tea as well so I don't think it's a northern thing. Mr Cmouse chose to correct me on it previously (just to wind me up I believe) so I may bother to get a dictionary out when I head over there later!
