My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.

But the thing isAs my friend keeps pointing out when he says "Ford Ka" to rhyme with "car", since it sounds exactly the same so people think he means just any type of Ford car.
