My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.

Toddlers with two lines of snot coming out of their nose.Though its the parents who are common. Wipe their noses ffs!

actually...... sometimes it's best to leave the snot where it is, especially if its cold. Constant nose wiping (as can be necessary with small children with bad colds) can cause non trivial skin irritation/abrasion.
