My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.

Yes, yes and, er, yes...Thank God it is not only me who finds the whole 'trousers without a belt' thing common... It also grips my sh*t to distraction when people season their food without tasting it.... especially when they cover it in home brand tomato ketchup... raaaaaaaaaaaaah!

I invented a term for people who season their food without tastingit's called Autocondimentia
I will always put salt on potatoes and some other veg though (not mash, because that should be seasoned correctly already)
