My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.

Whenthat much gunk is going down the back of your throat and you've got nothing you can discreetly spit it out into, it's a choice between spitting or throwing up in the street. This morning I was lucky and managed to get to a toilet and some toilet paper before I did have to make that decision!
