Common
Freddy Woo writes, "My wife thinks calling the front room a lounge is common. Worse, a friend of hers recently admonished her daughter for calling a toilet, a toilet. Lavatory darling. It's lavatory."
My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.
What stuff do you think is common?

Argh
People who say "ff" instead of "th".
I know some people have a speech problem and I'm ok with this. It's the people who think it's the cool way to say it or just can't be arsed pronouncing things properly.
"When are we meeting?"
"Free o'clock."
SHUT UP.

I used to do that
I don't know why, my parents used to go mad at me for it and they themselves don't do it, so I have no idea how I picked it up. Took me months of practice to be able to speak like a normal person but I can do it now though!
