My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.

Last night...... a young lady came into the off-licence in a part of Cambridge - dressed in her pyjamas. She had 3 friends with her who were all dressed in proper clothing. Why? Just why?
