Common
Freddy Woo writes, "My wife thinks calling the front room a lounge is common. Worse, a friend of hers recently admonished her daughter for calling a toilet, a toilet. Lavatory darling. It's lavatory."
My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.
What stuff do you think is common?

I would like to second this motion.
Seriously though, QOTW is looking VERY tired of late and would probably benefit from a break.
However, I am also aware of the devastating effects that a change in routine can have on people with autistic spectrum disorders, particularly if they've not been diagnosed.

Perhaps we're just not good enough to be here, we should stick to /talk.
We're clearly not good enough for this board.

Plus, they'll just infest the other boards, make idiots of themselves
and probably accuse the regulars of being trolls, or in a clique.
