This is a question Common

Freddy Woo writes, "My wife thinks calling the front room a lounge is common. Worse, a friend of hers recently admonished her daughter for calling a toilet, a toilet. Lavatory darling. It's lavatory."

My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.

What stuff do you think is common?

People who take their kids to the pub...
...and then proceed to stay for the entire day getting pissed in front of them while feeding them pints and pints of sugary drinks and crisps, and letting the little shits run around screaming pissing off everyone else.

I find that quite common. And cuntish.

A guy I worked with
had a three year old daughter who he'd bring to the pub with and then laugh as she picked up fag butts off the ground and pretended she was smoking.

Oh dear.

I totally agree!
I saw this far too often when I used to work in the pub trade.
It should be against the law. What a shitey example to set for your kids.
Scum!
