My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.

I can agree with that.Bottled water is the most pretentious bullshit out there and one thing I begrudge paying for.
I pay my rates and can get it from a tap.
The coke was probably cheaper anyway.
