Timberland boots come with a lifetime guaranteethey used to highlight this in their ads but don't seem to shout about it now
i go through about two pairs a year - the boots are probably still serviceable i should add, but i'm too old to look fashionably scruffy at work

Wasn;t aware of the lifetime guarantee bit, but that would explain it. Still, 18 years of normal wear and tear, I'm still impressed.
