I had to book a flight with them last night for my father
My father, ever the bargain hunter and partially reformed luddite, had seen flights to frankfurt with BMI for £29.

Bargain. Him and mum, there and back, whisker under £120.

So you can imagine the rather tense atmosphere when I had to tell him it would be £321, seeing as he wanted to take a bag. And bring it back again, and pay with a credit card, and have that card payment processed online, and travel from a UK airport.

I daren't tell him how much it will cost to park...

I think we need to get the pitchforks and flaming torches out to these cunts before too long.

BMI (the proper airline) is pretty good
I fly up and down to London with them pretty regularly. They don't charge extra for hold baggage, checking in at the airport, or taking a piss during the flight.

BMIBaby on the other hand, is their low cost airline. Like FlyBe and RyanAir, they charge extra for everything. I tend to avoid low cost airlines because ironically they tend to end up more expensive!
