This is a question Complaining

I like writing letters of complaint to companies containing the words "premier league muppetry", if only to give the poor office workers a good laugh on an otherwise dull day. Have you ever complained? Did it work?

iPhone battery flat after 5 hours...

... booked Genius appointment, walked into Apple Store without receipt or anything. Walked out 10 minutes later with brand new iPhone. I mean, WTF? Can't they behave like any other large company? I was sooo looking forward to a prolonged shouting match...

Months later I had lost one of the rubber buds of the Apple in-ear headphones. Booked appointment again, walked in, got a brand new set of headphones! And the leftover rubber bud as a spare from the old one. Seriously, WTF?

they are so strange sometimes...
my 2006 macbook developed a chip where the magnet would clasp the laptop shut, the battery had died and the DVD drive had collapsed in on itself....and it was out of warranty by about 2 years.

I book an appointment last month with the genius bar....bam! free battery, bam! new casing to replace the chips and cracks, bam! new DVD drive.........no charge........i was indeed a happy man.

My friend who also has a 2006 macbook developed 2 of the same issues and similarly it was out of warranty, I tell him about the genius bar...he books an appointment and heads into the same shop and they tell him to get the fuck out, his macbook is unrepairable. Bizarre.

You use the bundled earphones?
I'd assumed they were all in drawers gathering dust.
