swiftyisNOTevil writes, "I have recently become obsessed with the BBC Three show 'The Real Hustle' - personally, I think of it as a 'How To' show for aspiring con artists."
Have you carried out a successful con? Perhaps you hustled a few quid off a stranger, or defrauded a multi-national company. Or have you been taken for the wide-eyed, naive rube that you are?

You wouldn't believe how often I use that. Most recently: I was asking the Help Desk guys at work about getting Windows Media Player to stream audio from a radio station, and they told me that the ports it uses are blocked. I asked if there was any way around it, and one of them said, "No, but iTunes uses different ports."
"Really?" I said. "So if I download iTunes it should work?"
The guy looked nervous. "Well, you're not supposed to install anything on your computer-"
I made a swirling gesture with my fingers and spoke in a bad accent. "These aren't the droids you're looking for. You don't need to check my computer."
The other guy at least had the decency to laugh...
