The crack in the earth that what's his face, Cusack, is racing away from, constantly adjusts it's speed to match his. When he's on foot, it's right behind him, when he's in the car, it's right behind him, when he exits the car and goes on foot again, it slows down to match.

Sheer bollocks. As is everything by Roland Emmerich.

I've not seen it,
it's in my top ten of films I don't intend ever to watch, alongside the anachronistic abomination "10,000 BC".

The version I downloaded was in French with Polish subtitles
And even through the language barrier I marvelled at the sheer shitness of it.

I've not seen 10,000BC and don't especially want to.

It's a shame because an interesting movie could have been made about a baktun count apocalypse, but this was not that movie.
