Ya got me. I'm a mysanthrope who is rapidly descending into grumpy-old-man-dom.

It's the thought of people being happy that I object to.

I think it's just that, due to shockingly poor life choices, the Grimsdales have always been church mouse poor, which has turned me bitter and twisted.

We had a work day out at the races once. I found it really hard to put £5 on horse, especially after losing the first race. I couldn't see the fun in it. If I'd set fire to the fiver, at least it would have warmed me up a bit. That sums me up.

Anyway - hope things are good with you. Don't let my grumpiness spoil your fun!

Please find enclosed a pair of leather elbow patches, only slightly worn. Plenty of mileage in them yet.
