Controversial Beliefs
Some mugs still think the MMR injection gives children autism (it doesn't), while others are of the belief that we're ruled by billionaire lizard people. Tell us about views outside the mainstream which people go glassy eyed if you bang on about them (Your grandad's a racist - no need to tell us, thanks)

In Australia
If you park your car on the side of a road, you have to make it face the direction of traffic flow, otherwise you get a fine. This came about due to a law passed in 1887 in Mongalangawudgeree. The Mayor of the town was worried about horses parked up facing each other, and conspiring to charge the oatyard, as there had been a hay failure that year due to drought. So he decreed that all horses and carts had to face the standard direction of traffic, so they couldn't talk to each other. He told everyone that the law had been enacted in England 10 years earlier, so soon enough the whole of Australia took it on. And there's a bloke on Kangaroo Island who shags Kookaburras.

This should be the law.
The parking facing the right way, not fucking the wildlife.

Park the right way
It IS the law in Britain, during the night at least. If you're parked on a road outside of daylight hours, you're meant to park in the direction of traffic flow, so all the reflectors on your car are facing the right way. Don't know what the penalty is, but I'm fairly sure it's overlooked most of the time.
