Controversial Beliefs
Some mugs still think the MMR injection gives children autism (it doesn't), while others are of the belief that we're ruled by billionaire lizard people. Tell us about views outside the mainstream which people go glassy eyed if you bang on about them (Your grandad's a racist - no need to tell us, thanks)

TV News
The need by TV news to ask some random stranger their opinion about something that happened, is just lazy journalism. Everybody has an opinion, why do we need to hear it? (myself included).

What you want the $3/pic, $2/hr
snappers and copybitches to actually practice journalism?
Or did you mean the anchors - the people who've done a "Communications/Media" course and happen to not look like a dropped pie when they have slab of makeup on.
We live in a world where even John Pilger isn't considered a "true" journo any longer.

I always wonder how many people in the street, when asked about the economy or something,
reply "I don't know anything about it really, why not try asking someone who has actually studied it for a living". I'm sure there's plenty of attention-whores in academia etc. who'd jump at the drop of a phonecall to be on Thames News.

Opinions are like arseholes: everyone has one, and most of them stink
