This is a question Corporate Idiocy

Comedian Al Murray recounts a run-in with industrial-scale stupidity: "Car insurance company rang, without having sent me a renewal letter, asking for money. Made them answer security questions." In the same vein, tell us your stories about pointless paperwork and corporate quarter-wits

I resent the implication, found in many posts this week,
that CEO's and other senior managers are stupid.

Remorseless psychopaths don't like being called stupid any more than anyone else.

People do seem
to see it that way.

Or in fact, by some odd coincidence, the only intelligent band within your own industry just happens to be the one you work in.

The bosses are all dumb, the people below you are useless - after all, if they weren't, they'd have got to your level, right?

Funny that.

Yup
Just like the 80% of us who think we're above-average drivers...

That just means that the other 20% are REALLY shit

Have you ever heard anyone admit they're a shit driver?

I'll admit
that my wife is a shit driver, if it helps.

Shit driver right here!
I'm exceptional at Mario Kart, however.
