The bit in Salems lot where the dead kid is scratching on the window.
Must be more than 30 years since I saw that, and SHAT myself.
I never liked horror films after that.

The bit that appalled me was when the nurse finds the dead boy and screams her head off.The only reason she's screaming is the thought of all the paperwork.

Salem's LotCame up in conversation at work the other day and I said "you know the bit that really scared me and still gives me the willies?" And three people responded "the bit with the floating body scratching at the window!" So no, you are most certainly not alone in that.

Indeed, you are not alone.For a long time afterwards I was a bit leery of uncurtained windows at night. In fact that little sod often springs up in my imagination to this day when I go to draw them.
